watch this: priceless.

i don't think there's an actress as gorgeous in that quintessentially French way as audrey tautou. Priceless is so clever, fun, and entertaining, and audrey's vixen-y gold-digging character is nothing like her cute and quirky role in Amelie - but it's just as charming and wonderful. and so is the male lead, gad elmaleh, who has a funny name, but also the sweetest puppy dog eyes you've ever seen. i have so many favorite (subtitled) lines from the movie, but i won't share them so they'll fall on fresh ears (or rather, eyes?) when you finally see this movie (it's on dvd). so! off you go now, to add this to your netflix queue!
